Case Manager 1
Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living, Inc. is accepting applications for full-time and part-time (29 hours per week), Case Manager I positions. Bachelor’s degree in human services field, is preferred. Experience in working with older adults and individuals with disabilities preferred. Applicants must have knowledge of the social, economic and health issues impacting older individuals and individuals with disabilities. Applicants must be able to perform comprehensive assessments of individuals and families, analyze needs and coordinate services and resources to support individuals in the homes and the community. Applicants must have strong communication and organization skills, be detailed oriented, as well as excellent written and interpersonal skills and be able to collaborate with referral agencies. A valid driver's license is required, and satisfactory DMV report, Drug Screen and Criminal Background check required.

Social Services Support Specialist

Bedford Ride Coordinator
Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living, Inc. is seeking a compassionate, dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Bedford Ride Coordinator. In this important role, you will coordinate the activities of the Bedford Ride Program, which provides vital volunteer-driven transportation services for individuals needing medical care.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong Communication Skills – You’ll be interacting with a variety of people including volunteers, clients, and community partners.

Organizational Expertise – Previous clerical experience and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential to keep things running smoothly.

Commitment to Community – Experience with volunteer coordination and working with older adults or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.

Data Savvy – Comfortable using software to track program data and generate reports and ability to learn other software programs.

Nutrition Education Site Manager
Central Virginia Alliance for Community Living, Inc., is accepting applications for a Part-Time Nutrition Education Site Manager. The purpose of the Nutrition and Education Sites is to provide the opportunity for meals, education, health and wellness activities, peer interaction, and recreation for seniors over the age of 60 who are mobile and active.

Primary duties include:

Planning and implementing activities.

Coordinating for meal provision.

Other support for programmatic and record keeping operations of the site.
The successful applicant will possess:

A minimum of a high school diploma,

Strong interpersonal skills,

An ability to work closely with seniors.
